When Astrojar suggests Rahu's remedies

Astrojar never strengthens Rahu: its remedies are only to pacify it, when Rahu's dasha is running, or when Rahu is behind an uncancelled dosha in your chart. Pacifying uses the mantra, charity, worship and the temple, never the gemstone.

Rahu's gemstone

Rahu's gemstone is Hessonite (Gomed). Astrojar never suggests it on its own: it needs an astrologer's judgement on the whole chart. For Rahu, Astrojar's remedies are the mantra, charity and worship.

How to chant the Rahu mantra

Chant the mantra 108 times on a mala, ideally on Saturdays. The full japa of 18,000 is the count traditionally completed for Rahu, often over many days or by a priest. The Rahu Yantra is kept in the prayer place and worshipped on Saturdays. Astrojar's app has a mantra counter for your own chart's mantra.

Remedies support effort; they do not replace it, and no remedy is promised to change an outcome.
