This policy explains, in simple words, what Astrojar collects, why, and what you can do about it. Astrojar (astrojar.in and our WhatsApp, Telegram and web services) is owned and run by Toffyjar Digital Private Limited, Mysuru, Karnataka, India (“we”, “us”). By using Astrojar you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

What you give us:

Your name, WhatsApp number (or Telegram account) and email, if you share it.
Birth details for readings and reports: date, time and place of birth and gender, for you and for family members you add (only with their consent).
Your chats with Astrojar and the life events you tell us about.
For website orders: your name, email, WhatsApp number and the birth details for the report.

Payment information: the amount, plan or report and date. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout and are never stored by us.

Device information: when you visit astrojar.in we may collect your browser, IP address, time zone, pages viewed and the site that referred you, through log files and cookies.

2. How we use it

To make your kundli, answer your questions and prepare and deliver your reports (on WhatsApp and by email).
To remember what you told us, so answers fit your life.
To send order confirmations, invoices and support replies.
To prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep the accounting records the law requires.
To improve our readings, using records that cannot be linked back to you.
To understand how our website is used and to measure our own marketing.

3. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share only what each service needs to work for us:

Meta (WhatsApp) and Telegram carry our messages; Chatwoot is our support inbox.
Razorpay processes payments.
An AI model helps write our replies and reports. It never sees your name, phone number or email.
Our hosting and email providers store and send data for us.
Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and our users.

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in and to understand visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some features may then not work. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while you use Astrojar. Payment records are kept as long as Indian tax law requires. Delete requests are completed within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

6. Your choices and rights

Send delete my data on WhatsApp at any time. Your name, number, email and chats are deleted. Anonymous chart and feedback records, which cannot be linked back to you, stay to improve our readings.
Send what do you know about me to see what we remember, and forget my notes to clear it.
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct or erase your data, and to withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days.
If you live in the EU, you have the same rights under the GDPR, including data portability and objecting to processing. Your data may be processed outside your country.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and signed, expiring links for reports. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

8. Age

Astrojar is for adults, 18 years or older.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the chat before they apply.
